About Us

Lea Scott, RVT

Lea joined the HVS team in 2012. Her compassion for animals started at a young age and she began her first job at a veterinary hospital in 2008. Graduating from Delgado's Veterinary Technology Program in 2011 she is now a Registered Veterinary Technician. Originally from Covington she currently lives in Ponchatoula with her other half, Stan, and their young son, Alex. Their pets include two dogs, Link and Foxy, and a cat named Kitten. In her free time she enjoys relaxing at home with her family, reading, painting, and playing video games.


Hallie started working at Hammond Veterinary Services in 2011. She started as a veterinary assistant, and remained in that position until 2014 when she was promoted to office manager. She has been a devoted member of HVS for many years and we rely on her for most tasks.

In her free time she enjoys shopping with her family and friends. She loves relaxing at home with her 2 dogs, Macy and Tootie. She takes pleasure in helping our patients and is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of our family.


Caitlyn has been working as a veterinary assistant since 2014. She is devoted to helping and caring for our patients. Playing with puppies and learning more about veterinary medicine are some of her favorite things about her job. Spending time with her loved ones, especially her toddler Alivia, delights her the most. She has a horse named Bailey and a rambunctious lab named Duke; who requires most of her attention.

Jordyn is currently a student at Northshore Technical Community College. She is working towards her degree in Veterinary Technology and will graduate some time next year. She began shadowing at HVS to further her knowledge in veterinary medicine and was welcomed as part of the staff in 2016.

Her interests include hunting and anything involving outdoors. She is a volunteer at her local fire department and enjoys helping in her community. When she has down time, she uses sketching and painting to relax.


Sarah Lives in Ponchatoula with her 5 pets. She has 2 horses, Cherokee and Austin, and 3 dogs Angie, Cade, and her lovable Lab Kami. In hopes of becoming a Cardio-Sonographer she is currently enrolled at Baton Rouge Community College . Her hobbies include hunting, traveling, and diversifying her palate. Applying her knowledge for the well being of our patients, she is always assisting with Radiology to learn more about her future job field.


For all of her life Olivia has loved animals. She has 5 cats, 1 dog, and a fish named Dodger. She is from Lutcher attending South Eastern Louisiana University. She is extremely interested in learning about Veterinary Medicine as she hopes to one day become a Veterinarian. She enjoys playing tennis. On her weekends off she spends most of her time visiting her beloved family. She loves the company of animals of all sorts and will surely love your pet.
